Joseph (Joey) D. Oliver III

COO & CFO, ENTrigue Surgical, Inc.
Joey Oliver has more than 25 years of financial and business operations experience in both public and private companies, including the management of companies through turnarounds, financial and organizational restructurings, integrations of acquisitions and the maturation of early stage growth.  Over his career, Oliver has been directly involved in a variety of equity and debt financing transactions totaling more than $1 billion, as well as acquisitions and divestitures with a total value in excess of $1 billion.   

Oliver currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for ENTrigue Surgical, Inc., a venture capital backed company founded in 2007 and focused on novel medical devices for Ear, Nose and Throat surgeries.  Previously, Oliver served as the Chief Financial Officer for two other venture capital backed companies focused on the development and commercialization of medical devices - C2M Medical, Inc. which developed Orthopedic products for a major medical device supplier and OsteoBiologics, Inc. (OBI) which introduced new technologies for Arthroscopy/Sports Medicine surgeries and was acquired by Smith & Nephew Endoscopy in July of 2006.  

Prior to OBI, Oliver served as CFO of two early stage software technology companies in network infrastructure protection and telecom signaling services; as CFO for three private healthcare product and services companies; as CFO of an international agribusiness product company; Director of Planning for an international marine-based energy company; as Assistant Treasurer of a private family energy and investment management company; and as a senior staff professional for an international public accounting firm.

Oliver is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi.  He serves on various advisory boards for both businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
