Matthew Reedy

Director of Research and Development, SecureLogix Corporation
Matthew Reedy is the Director of Research and Development for SecureLogix Corporation. In this role, Mr. Reedy contributes to future product designs, directions and capabilities and assists in software development activities for current products. Specifically, Matt is focusing in the area of SIP-aware firewalls, including research and evaluation of current technologies and design work for next generation products.  Prior to joining SecureLogix Corporation in 2008, Mr. Reedy was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of startup Armida Technologies Corporation, where he led the design, implementation and rollout of its flagship product, a robust hardware/software platform for reliable wireless streaming video transmission in surveillance and security applications.  Previously, Matt was co-founder and president of the IntelliSolve Group, Inc., a business intelligence and data warehouse consulting firm, specializing in helping progressive organizations utilize information management tools to be more successful.  Before that, Mr. Reedy was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of IQ Software Corporation, an independent software vendor that developed and sold end user reporting and data access software to small and medium sized businesses.  IQ Software executed an initial public offering (IPO) of its stock in 1992 and was subsequently acquired by Computer Associates.  Mr. Reedy holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Trinity University and an MBA from St. Mary’s University.
