Scott KaeppelPresident, KAEPPEL CONSULTING, LLCScott Kaeppel has over 17 years of strategic development of businesses and services to enable quality, profitable growth. Mr. Kaeppel's key areas of focus have included; establishing state, federal and international policies around nuclear contamination as it relates to human health; gaining corporate efficiencies through the creation of shared services and process engineering; and innovating products and services across business units, enterprise business process management, marketing and strategic planning.Before starting his own company, Mr. Kaeppel served as Senior Vice President, Business Development and Process Engineering for United Services Automobile Association (USAA), Vice President Market Strategies and sales automation for WellPoint ($60B). Prior to USAA, he served in several management positions with AIG and General Electric deploying six sigma and product development programs. He also served the US Army as a health physicist, assisting U.S Army surgeon general with development of nuclear policies. Mr. Kaeppel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, and was a long time member of the Executive Conference Board for Six Sigma. He recently received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army at the rank of Major. |
